The cabins at Sam’s Place are cozy, rustic studio cabins just steps away from Possum Kingdom Lake. Inside, you’ll find a bunk bed perfect for kiddos, a full bed perfect for a single or a snuggly couple, and a small kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. These cabins are a great spot to get a taste of what Sam’s Place is all about—simple, no-frills rooms with vintage touches and tons of outdoor space to enjoy.
You’ll also have access to all the shared amenities, like an outdoor dining area, charcoal grills, a firepit, and The Storehouse in case you need any essentials or a late-night snack.
When it comes to the lake, we’ve got you covered. You’ll have access to our deep-water dock, perfect for swimming, fishing, or tying up your boat*.
We’ve got outdoor racks for any canoes or kayaks you bring, plus a beach area to launch from. After a fun day on the water, you can rinse off at the outdoor shower before heading back to your cabin.
*If you do decide to bring or rent a boat please let us know so we can ensure there is a place for you to put your boat. It is first come first served with our guests on the 2 available dock tie-ups. If those are all full, don’t worry there are usually slips available next to our boat ramp just a short drive from Sam’s Place.
